Apple Cinnamon Syrup Pie
I added apples to this recipe to help thicken up the pudding-like filling and to make it into a real apple pie!
Apple Cinnamon Syrup Pie – Adding apples to this recipe helps to thicken up the pudding-like filling. – Knotts Berry Farm Light Apple Cinnamon Syrup, Hot Water, Apples ((peeled and cored)), Butter, Cornstarch, Salt, Egg Yolks, Graham Cracker Pie Crust, Egg Whites, Knotts Berry Farm Light Apple Cinnamon Syrup, Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.; Arrange apples in pie crust. Set aside.
; Combine syrup, hot water and butter and bring to a boil.; Mix cornstarch, salt and enough cold water to make a thin paste, add Egg yolks and beat well.; Add cornstarch mixture to hot syrup gradually, return to heat and cook until thickened to the consistency of pudding, stirring constantly.; Cool slightly.; Pour over apples in pie crust and mix together. ; Beat Egg whites stiff, adding slowly the tablespoon of syrup.; Pile on pie and bake in 400 F oven for 30 minutes or until apples have softened. ; – So yummy!

- 1 Cup Knotts Berry Farm Light Apple Cinnamon Syrup
- 1 Cup Hot Water
- 4 Cups Apples (peeled and cored)
- 1 tsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 Tbsp Knotts Berry Farm Light Apple Cinnamon Syrup

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Arrange apples in pie crust. Set aside.
- Combine syrup, hot water and butter and bring to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch, salt and enough cold water to make a thin paste, add Egg yolks and beat well.
- Add cornstarch mixture to hot syrup gradually, return to heat and cook until thickened to the consistency of pudding, stirring constantly.
- Cool slightly.
