Baked Potatoes on the Grill
Potatoes are another super-simple thing to cook on the grill (so is Corn-on-the-Cob). So if you’re already barbecuing, why run in and out of the house tending to all the side dishes? Throw your potatoes right on the grill.
How to Bake Potatoes on the Grill – You will need Aluminum Foil, a fork to poke holes in your potatoes and barbecue tongs to rotate and remove potatoes from the grill. – Baking Potatoes, Wash Potatoes – Rinse the potatoes in water to clean off dirt.
; Poke Potatoes with Fork – To release pressure that may build up during cooking, poke the potatoes with a fork a few times.; Wrap Potatoes in Foil – Wrap the potatoes tightly in foil.
; Heat BBQ – Preheat the barbecue to 350 degrees F or so. Allow it to heat up for about 15 minutes to get a well-established heat.; Put Potatoes on the Grill – Place the potatoes on the grill, away from the flame.; Allow them to cook for up to 90 minutes, until they are soft to the touch. Flip the potatoes about half way through the cooking time.; – Unwrap your potatoes, slice them and add toppings. Make sure to break out the sour cream, chives and real bacon bits or any of your favorite toppings, along with butter and salt.
